As the Vice Chair of the Boston City Council’s Committee on Veterans, Military Families, and Military Affairs, my dedication to our veterans is deeply personal. I am the proud mother of a U.S. Army Airborne Infantry soldier and the daughter of a military family. These roles have given me a profound understanding of the sacrifices made by service members and their families.
This personal connection fuels my commitment to ensuring that Boston's veterans and military families receive the support and recognition they deserve. From advocating for improved access to mental health services to supporting initiatives that ease the transition to civilian life, I am dedicated to addressing the unique challenges faced by our veteran community.
I believe that honoring our veterans goes beyond words—it requires action. That's why I work tirelessly to implement policies and programs that provide tangible benefits to those who have served. Whether it's through housing assistance, employment opportunities, or healthcare services, my goal is to make Boston a city where veterans feel valued and supported.
Our veterans have given so much to our country; it's our responsibility to ensure they have the resources and respect they need to thrive in our community.
